How it all started
‘For years we have believed in having 5 senses; taste, touch, smell, sight and sound. One of the few things in life that can enhance our senses and elevate them to levels beyond our imagination is simply good food. From the smell of freshly baked bread to the sound of sizzling onions in butter to the taste of vanilla ice cream bathing your tastebuds, to the enticing colours in an ancient spice bazaar and the crunch of fresh warm baklava as you bite into it.
At Gourmet Graze, we believe there’s a 6th sense (not the creepy movie), one that combines all of the above and takes you to a whole new world, which is why we use the Peacock feather as our emblem, the Greco-Romans believed it’s the eyes to the stars. We’ve all had a food experience that will stay with us forever. We want your guests to experience the same feeling every time Gourmet Graze hand-crafts a bespoke platter and evokes their 6th sense – something they will remember forever.
We are foodies that love design, art and creativity. We believe that the first impression of food should be just as captivating as its taste. Food is the emotional glue that holds a setting together, it is what keeps the conversation flowing and creates memories that you’ll think about for years to come.

Duaa
As a registered Medical Laboratory Scientist, Duaa; Founder of Gourmet Graze, has spent her life looking at microscopic detail. The years she spent in the profession taught her to see intricate details and spot anything that looks out of place. We’re surrounded by beauty and patterns in nature and she was fortunate enough to see it at a detail that most do not.
Duaa was born in Iraq, the cradle of civilization. Coming from a land that saw thousands of years of rich culinary culture, food is very much at the core of her day to day life. Duaa’s love for food and her passion for detail and most importantly; the belief that good, simple, wholesome food can bring the world together led her to find Gourmet Graze, beautiful hand-crafted grazing platters & tables using unique and ancient ingredients. Scents that will ignite childhood memories and emotions, tantalizing your taste buds and giving your guests a night they will soon not forget.
